Abstract


Analysis of Users’ Views Evaluation for Online Advance Organizer Concept Teaching Material
The aim of this study is to analyze the views of students on online advance organizer concept teaching material (ÇİDKOM) that provides to organize digital contents on a concept map for teaching of science/physics concepts. The questionnaire was prepared special to this study including 20 multiple choice and 5 open-ended questions. The pilot study was carried out with 344 grade 7 students in the first year application of the ÇİDKOM to carry out reliability and validity analysis. In the second year application the views were collected from 505 grade 6 students with the developed questionnaire. Students indicated that visual design and contents should be enhanced. In general students declared positive views related to easy-touse and user-friendly structure as well as concept-teaching focused structure. Students indicated that they felt themselves relaxed while using it and more than half of the students learned the usage within one week. The educational software evaluation tool prepared for this study was also used to evaluate similar software in other studies.
