The Effect Of Computer Assisted Instruction On Students' Achievement In The Teaching Of The Subject Of Activity
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of computer-assisted instruction by comparing with the traditional teaching method in the instruction of the topic of activity. In accordance with this purpose, the students’ achievements were evaluated about analyzing activity-related given events and making expressions. This study was conducted with the participation of 67 students of 3rd grade. Some of the materials used in the study were regulated supplied from the internet. And the others have be prepared by the researchers by using Macromedia Flash 8.0. Totally, four animations were applied. The questions addressed to students to measure success at the end of application were prepared after a review the literature. The study was evaluated with 4 animations and 5 questions. The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS 15.0 package program. Analysis results demonstrated that experimental group students’ achievements were higher than control group students on the activity. It has been identified that students can do a better analysis of activity-related events.
