Abstract

This analysis is intended to shed some light on the effects of cooperated learning and conventional learning methods on the academic achievements of the students who had different success levels. It was investigated on the fourth class students in the elementary school named Denizli Ra?it Özkarde?. The analysis was comprised of two groups, test group and control group. The subjects consisted of forty six in the test and forty five in the control groups. It was an experimental study. Throughout the investigations, conventional teaching methods in control group and the collobrated learning methods in the test group were applied. Four weeks later, t-test was used in order to see the tengible effects of the applied methods on the academic achievements of the successful or unsuccessful students. The result was that the achievements of the test group applied collobrated learning method was in favour of the achievements of the control group applied conventional learning method.
